Tiger Car Rental - Self-Drive Terms & Conditions

Tiger Car Rental, Chungi Naka, Keshwana Road, Ramdev Colony, Jalor, Rajasthan 343001 ("we", "the Owner"). By booking, the person hiring the car ("you", "the Hirer") agrees to these terms. The English version is the binding version. A paper agreement is signed at pick-up.

Booking and payment
1 Rent = number of days x the car's price per day, as shown at booking. Prices shown at booking are locked for that booking.
2 A day is a block of 24 hours counted from the pick-up time. The minimum rental is one day.
3 An advance of Rs 5,000 is paid by UPI. Send the payment screenshot to our WhatsApp number to complete the booking. Your booking is confirmed only when we confirm it. If two people request the same car for overlapping dates, the booking we confirm first gets the car.
4 Unconfirmed online requests expire after 24 hours.
5 The advance is adjusted in your final bill. If the final bill is lower than the advance, the difference is refunded.
6 A security deposit (Rs 5,000 to Rs 10,000, depending on the car) is taken at pick-up to cover loss, damage, fines, extra days and extra km. If costs exceed the deposit, you pay the balance. The unused deposit is returned within 3 to 7 working days after the car is returned and any issue (such as a traffic challan or Fastag use) is resolved.

Cancellation
1 Cancel at least 24 hours before pick-up: full refund of the advance.
2 Cancel less than 24 hours before pick-up, or do not turn up: the advance is forfeited.
3 To cancel, use "Request cancellation" in the app or contact us. Cancellation is final when we approve it.

Pick-up, delivery and return
1 Pick up from our shop, or choose delivery to your map location for an extra flat fee that covers delivery and return pick-up, based on road distance from our shop: 1 to 60 km Rs 1,000; 61 to 110 km Rs 2,000; 111 to 160 km Rs 3,000; above 160 km, a custom quote.
2 You must inspect the car before taking it. Existing damage is noted at pick-up. You are responsible for all damage after pick-up until the car is returned to us.
3 If you return the car before your rental period ends, no money is refunded for the unused time. You may adjust the unused time by agreement with us.
4 If you want extra days, tell us before your return time. We will extend it if the car is free. Any extra started 24-hour block is charged as one full day. A grace of 60 minutes is given at each return time.

Kilometres
1 Free kilometres are 300 per day unless the car says otherwise.
2 Kilometres are measured by the car's GPS, which is accepted as final. We also note the odometer at pick-up and return.
3 The free limit applies to each 24-hour day separately. Unused free km of one day cannot be used on another day.
4 For each day, km above the free limit are charged at the rate per extra km shown for that car.

Fuel
1 The car is given with a limited amount of fuel, enough to reach the nearest petrol pump. You are responsible for fuel during the trip. It is not mandatory to return the same amount of fuel.

Driver and use of the car
1 The driver must be 18 or older with a valid driving licence and must carry it at all times.
2 Only the Hirer drives the car, unless we agree in writing.
3 Follow all traffic and motor vehicle laws. Do not drive under alcohol or drugs, or while unwell in a way that affects driving. Do not drive carelessly or rashly.
4 Do not carry more people than the permitted seating, or any illegal goods. Do not carry animals or goods for payment.
5 No smoking in the car.
6 Do not use the car for any unlawful activity, racing, towing, or off-road use.
7 Do not tamper with the GPS or speed governor.
8 Do not repair the car yourself without our permission.

Charges and penalties (these amounts apply at the time of booking)
- Driving above 80 km/h: Rs 1,500 per instance.
- Traffic violation: Rs 1,000 plus the actual fine.
- Tyre damage from bad terrain or misuse, or puncture: actual cost of the tyre; puncture repair Rs 200.
- Unclean car: Rs 500 for minor cleaning; Rs 1,500 for major cleaning.
- Smoking: Rs 1,000 plus any applicable damage.
- Original car documents not returned: Rs 5,000 plus actual re-issue costs.
- Unauthorised activity (arms, ammunition, intoxicants, commercial use): Rs 15,000.
- GPS or governor tampering: Rs 15,000.
- Carrying more than permitted persons: Rs 5,000.
- Animals in the car: Rs 20,000 plus cleaning.
- Unauthorised repair: Rs 10,000 plus any damage.
- Damage and repair, minimum: scratch Rs 1,000; dent/paint Rs 4,000; bumper Rs 8,000; wheel cap Rs 500; side mirror Rs 5,000; running board Rs 2,000; number plate Rs 500; tail lamp Rs 3,000. Other damage is charged at the service centre rate.
- Fastag or toll used: charged at actual.
- Damage to the car repaired without our permission: Rs 10,000.
- Accident or damage in extreme condition or rash driving: you pay the full cost.

Accidents, theft and loss
1 Tell us immediately about any accident, theft or breakdown and inform the police where needed.
2 You are responsible for damage, loss and legal action arising from your driving or from any breach of these terms.

General
1 Fines, challans and toll collected after the trip for the rental period are charged to you.
2 These terms, the booking details and the paper agreement form the entire agreement. Changes are valid only in writing signed by both sides.
3 If any part of these terms is not enforceable, the rest stays in force.
4 These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts and arbitration in Jalore, Rajasthan have jurisdiction.
5 We may update these terms. A booking follows the version accepted at the time of booking.
